We are searching for a stylish, solid, enthusiastic drummer...technical flourishes and fills are not a high priority..would rather have someone to play in the style of the drummers from bands like the Velvet Underground, Ramones, The Cramps, Jesus and Mary Chain, and Talking Heads ( small piece kit emphasising on snare, kick, floor tom, high hat, and percussion)...we are huge fans of world rhythms, ( South America, Jamaican/ Caribbean, and West African), and 60s Motown, Soul , Garage/ Psych_rock, and Surf Rock drumming styles...We have a full drum kit and percussion available and practice space/ studio access as well..Also have written two to three albums worth of extremely diverse and consistent quality songs ready to play live and record...Focus is on playing South Florida local paying gigs first and branching out on small tours to the East Coast covering a few states at a time to build a following before going on National tours...Recording is also a high priority to have a constant stream of new music...We already have a solid base of well_ paying local venues to play in South Florida and contacts to play all across the East Coast, Texas,and California...If interested please call: (954)639_1269 or email at drewwood1979@gmail.com...Hope to see someone in the drum throne soon! ... more
